If you have been looking for a perfect blend of intellectual perceptions with anecdotes on communication and information technology, this book is the ideal choice. It provides an account of the manner in which Information and communication technologies; mine rural talent.
'You are born to blossom' is a visual journey of the former President Dr. Abdul Kalam and his perceptions, as he presents his dream of schools in India in 2020. He visualizes symbiotic nerve centers that connect teachers, students and the community. This wondrous approach personifies knowledge that exists in the world. What`s more, social transformations take a sudden turn when he opts to make a clarion call in order to accelerate the process. This would consequently involve raising the standards of governance and safeguarding the holiness of public institutions.
The other interesting aspect that struck me in the book, is the instance of using a tree as a metaphor to denote prosperity; the true meaning of which is to bear 'fruits of knowledge'. This book is truly inspiring, more so, if you are an ardent admirer of the intellectual leader. The emphasis on scientific inclination guided by pure Conscience is worth a read for the youth of today and tomorrow. Having read the book, I sincerely hope that by 2020 our leader`s dreams are realized and India grows to be amongst the emergent superpowers of the world.
