Let me confess first before writing a review on this book. I am not a Disciple of Modi or a Basher of Modi.

The incidents took place in Modi's life (mostly Political life) are published in this book. Some of them are highly sensitive issues of our country. The Authors did not target the media to praise Modi, but indirectly raised very serious questions on E-Media (E for both English & Electronic).

1. Are we really listening \ reading to accurate, unbiased & credible NEWS?

2. How responsible Media should be in critical situations?
(Situations like Godhra carnage, Post Godhra riots & Mumbai attacks on 26th Nov'0

3. Do we need some rigid policy in our country to control the unrestrained Media Sector?

4. How badly our country is suffering from the disease called "Pseudo-Secularism”?

These are some of the questions I could perceive after reading this book, which are absolutely relevant to the current condition of E-Media in our country. Some might find this book one-sided, but I think as long as E-Media covers their “Stories” biased, books like these arrive into market to reveal the other side of these “Stories”.

I think, Unfortunately media in our country has become an entertainment than an interface between the truth & the people of our country. Media decides who is worthwhile & who is not. But I feel happy when I come across books like "Narendra Modi: The Architect Of A Modern State" which reveals the truth behind a Person who is misunderstood by the entire nation because of print & electronic media. An unbiased story of "The Present Iron Man of our country"

What a hypocracy! Rating of 1 out of 5 Rating of 1 out of 5 Rating of 1 out of 5 Rating of 1 out of 5 Rating of 1 out of 5

The book talks about tha man, who managed stages for his own promotion by creating hatred, managing massacre, providing non-befitting, unreasonable and scandalous government concessions [loss to state revenues] to big business houses.

The book promotes the man, who was quoted by The Indian Express( June 11, 2002) as saying that “ That journalists who cover Gujarat… may meet the fate of Danial Pearl… Cover communal riots at your own risk.”

It is the irony that it is written by the author, who is a veteran journalist and reported to have said and Published in Deccan Herald of Monday, February 11, 2008:
“Absence of objectivity, honesty and revolution in technology has swept off ethical standards practiced in journalism,” said veteran journalist and Honorary Director of MIC Dr M V Kamath.

What a hypocracy!

Find the truth yourself Rating of 4 out of 5 Rating of 4 out of 5 Rating of 4 out of 5 Rating of 4 out of 5 Rating of 4 out of 5

The book showcases the political career of Narendra Modi, the man who has made Gujrat India's top-most industrial state in less than a decade. Frequently criticised following the torching of the coaches of the Sabarmati Express at Godhra and the riots that occurred as a result, the man has still made a place in the hearts of many. Narendra Modi: The Architect Of A Modern State makes the picture a lot more clear.
