Available in two variants - Audi A4 1.8L petrol and Audi A4 2.0L diesel, this model caters to the premium luxury market in India. This car is also marketed as a compact executive vehicle around the world. In India, style and substance make it a sure competitor to other C segment cars.

This version features an all powerful 1781cc DOHC petrol engine with a turbocharger that takes it to a top speed of 223 kph at a top power of 1634BHP. No wonder, it achieves a top speed of 0-100 kph in just 8.6 seconds with a top torque of 22.94 kg-m. This gives the Audi A4 a fantastic power to weight ratio of 113.9 BHP per tonne. Awesome Audi

The Audi is a series of classic cars, that's what I knew already when I went to the showroom in Mumbai to pick up my Audi A4. Well, for the price, it is an expensive car but offers the same frills as others in the range. I've got an Audi, because I own two other cars as well, the Toyota Corolla and the BMW 6 series.

To me the Audi's engine does not sound as refined as that of the BMW 6 series, but the Audi's engine is an above average performer. It takes you places as soon as you hit the accelerator, but the A4 feels a bit noisy when given the ignition. However, it quietens down after you rev it up a bit.

Comparatively, the BMW was more silent. However I prefer the Audi for a whole load of reasons, including daily business trips rather than an exotic run down on Marine Drive in the BMW. There are a host of other features that are excellent as well, such as the CVT and Sports Mode that respond beautifully.

Frankly, the engine is a bit uninspiring, but the A6 and the A8 perform much better and are viable contestants to the competition they face from equivalent makes. The suspension is a bit above average, but good enough for city rides with some pothole handling ability.

The A4 is a bit stubborn when it comes to handling bends and corners; I think they should have done a bit more about the steering. Good legroom overall, but for taller people, it's a compromise. On the whole the Audi A4 is a great model, but since it's meant to be an entry level variant in its segment, Audi has unnecessarily made a lot of compromises on this model.

audi a4 is superb

best car in terms of space,looks and pickup. This is the best car if we compare it with c class or 3 series
