The Nokia X6 is a scintillating phone with extensive social networking capabilities for busy people and those always on the go. With a classic form, it has a finger-operated touch screen user interface and dimensions of 111.0 x 51.0 x 13 mm. The 3.2" display has a 640 x 360 pixels resolution and has up to 16.7 million colours. For communication and navigation, the operating frequency utilized for WCDMA is 900/1900/2100 and GSM/EDGE is 850/900/1800/1900. Additionally the phone features automatic switching between GSM bands and flight mode as well. The Nokia X6 supports a wide variety of data networks such as CSD, HSCSD, GPRS/EDGE, HSDPA, WLAN, and TCP/IP support. For local connectivity and sync, features like Bluetooth version 2.0 with EDR, MTP support, TV out (PAL), and support for PC synchronization with Nokia Ovi Suite are provided.

The Nokia X6 supports a large variety of call features like integrated hands-free speakerphone, number screening, call waiting, call hold, and call divert, call timer, call logs, automatic redial, speed dialling, speaker independent name dialling, fixed dialling number support, vibrating alert, contact bar, and many more. Also included is a wide range of messaging features, email features (IMAP, POP, SMTP), web browsing, GPS and navigation, integrated A-GPS, and Ovi Maps 3.0.

The Nokia X6 has a 5 megapixel AF camera for brilliant 2592x1944 pixels photography that supports JPEG/EXIF photography. The camera comes with Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash, auto focus, 4x digital zoom, direct printing to compatible printers, a variety of balance and flash modes and other features. The phone runs on S60 5th edition software platform and Symbian OS version 9.4 user interface.

The Nokia X6 is also capable of video recording and playback, music and audio play back with the Nokia N series digital music player, stereo FM radio, dedicated playback file formats such as mp3, SPMidi, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, voice and audio recording, voice commands, speaker-independent name dialling (SIND), voice recorder, digital stereo microphone, and a range of personalization features such as customizable profiles, ring tones and a lot more.
